DESCRIPTION:
Ghana's Cultural and Historical Luxury Group Vacation Tour Package provides a tour operator to help guide and assist you while you enjoy the beautiful culture of this great country. Plenty of things to see and do in Ghana, like receiving your Ghanaian name, visiting the highest waterfall in Ghana, and mingling with the locals in the village, the Ewe people, are just a few things this group tour vacation package will offer you. PRICE INCLUDES:
Airfare, transport to and from the airport after arrival at your destination, hotel accommodations, 8 breakfasts, transportation around Ghana, fuel surcharge, air-conditioned bus or minivan, all entry fees at tour site, naming ceremony, and travel insurance.
DON'T FORGET:
You will need your passport with at least 6 months of travel time left. You will need to visit a travel clinic for travel medicine information. You will also need a visa to enter Ghana, we can help you with that if needed.
OUR TIPS:
You should bring mostly cotton attire to wear as the weather can get very hot during midday in December.

Day 1


SCHEDULE:
Arrive at Ghana's Kotoka International Airport. Transport to the hotel for orientation, welcome reception, and rest up for tomorrow's tour.
Stop at: Overnight, Accra Hotel
Day 2


SCHEDULE:
Accra City tour - This tour gives travelers the opportunity to experience the beauty, historic monuments, and cultural heritage the city has to offer. It also offers visitors the opportunity to experience the pleasure and the artistic nature of the city. Evening at the beachfront.
Stop at: Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Makola Market, Independence Square, W.E.B. DuBois Center, James Town Lighthouse, Center for National Culture, and the beachfront. Overnight at a Accra hotel
Day 3


SCHEDULE:
Early morning Departure to the Central Region. Get ready for an unforgettable and not only tailor-made experience for you, but a unique adventure off the beaten trail that shows you a side of Ghana that most people don't see while on tour. Kakum National Park Known for its long canopy walk, also have a variety of other activities to choose from too. Elmina Castle is another castle where captures were held before they were shipped to various other countries. Evening at the beach.

Day 4


SCHEDULE:
Get ready for an unforgettable second day in the Cape Coast. Cape Coast Castle, was a place where captured Blacks were detained, waiting to be shipped to one of many countries for slavery. Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park is where the enslaved Africans received their last bath before being auctioned into slavery
Stop at: Cape Coast Castle and Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park. Overnight at a Elmina hotel.
Day 5


SCHEDULE:
Early morning start this morning, headed to the Volta Region. The Volta Region is enriched with African culture. Here you will meet the Chiefs, the Elders, and the village locals, who will welcome you by pouring liberation on you, a traditional way of welcoming you to the village and the community. You will receive your Ghanaian name at the Naming Ceremony and participate in the traditional dancing and drumming ceremonial party. You will experience the peace and warmth of life in the village, also mingle with the locals, and learn different aspects of their daily life. Local cooking class and lunch or dinner.
Stop At: Volta Region village. Overnight in a Volta Region Hotel
Day 6


SCHEDULE:
Wedding and wedding Reception or funeral and funeral reception. Both Wedding and funeral if time permits.
Stop at: Village local Commutity Area. Overnight in a volta Region Hotel.
Day 7


SCHEDULE:
The Wli Waterfalls is the tallest waterfall in Ghana, located in the Volta Region. It is about 10 degrees cooler at the falls. A walk through the forest of the Agumatsa Wildlife Sanctuary offers a chance to see a large colony of fruit bats, butterflies, birds, monkeys, and baboons. The Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Cultural Village, a short trek thru the Tafi Forest Reserve to see the monkeys.
Stop at: Wli Waterfall, Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, and Tafi Abuife Kente Weaving Village. Overnight in Volta Region Hotel

SCHEDULE:
Enjoy the afternoon at the spa and a relaxing afternoon/evening ride on the River. Prepare for departure at Kotoka Internation airport.
